Measurement guide

Every Sophia Jacket is made to order and cut and sewn for you in Ibiza. To make yours fit like it was always meant to be yours, I need a few simple measurements. It takes about five minutes, and it's easiest with a friend.

You will need a soft measuring tape, and ideally a friend to help.

Wear something thinA fitted top or just your bra. No jumpers underneath.
Snug, not tightThe tape should lie flat. One finger should slip under it.
Stand relaxedArms loose, breathe normally, posture natural.
Measure twiceEnter the number you get both times.

Tape across the upper back from shoulder tip to shoulder tip

Shoulder width

Across your upper back, from the tip of one shoulder bone to the tip of the other. Ask your friend to do this one.

The key measurement

Tape along the top of one shoulder from the neck to the shoulder tip

Neck to shoulder

Along the top of one shoulder, from where it meets your neck out to the tip of your shoulder bone.

One side is enough

Tape around the upper body at its widest point

Torso, widest point

All the way around the widest part of your upper body, under your arms. For most of us that's across the fullest part of the bust. Keep the tape level round your back.

Arm length

From your shoulder tip, over a slightly bent elbow, down to your wrist bone.

Tape from the shoulder next to the neck, straight down over the fullest point of the bust

Jacket length

From the top of your shoulder, next to your neck, straight down over the fullest point of your bust (right in the middle of it) to where you'd like the jacket to end.
