Astra

Some things are not made — they are assembled, stitch by stitch, bead by bead, for a specific kind of woman. Astra is a silk two-piece in ivory with intricate hand-applied beading throughout, falling into a soft sheen that moves with the body.

The skirt's waistband is handmade, inspired by a tuxedo belt; its hem follows the wave of the beading. Every detail is placed by hand. There is only one of her. Once she leaves, she is gone.
